Description
The ultimate in cosy winter sweaters, the Deep Raglan knitting pattern features deep sleeves, crew neckline and balloon cuffs for extreme comfort.
This sweater is knit in the round as one piece from the top down for zero seaming. The neckline is picked up and knit before being folded to the inside and hand sewn in place.
Suitable for Intermediate level knitters and above.
Fit & Yarn Details
We recommend lofty, lightweight yarns for drape and softness eg single-ply, mohair, possum-blends, silk-blends or alpaca yarns in 8 ply/DK weight or, in some cases, 5 ply/sport (please check gauge first).
Model wears approx 32 cm / 12.5” positive ease. Designed to be worn with 5-20 cm / 2-8” ease depending on your personal preference. Sizes read as A (B, C, D) (E, F, G, H).

Yarn Quantity: metres = 1121 (1211, 1324, 1427) (1580, 1665, 1831, 1932) / yards = 1225 (1324, 1448, 1561) (1728, 1821, 2002, 2113).
Needles: 3.5 mm/US 4 circular needle for ribbing and 4.5 mm/US 7 circular needle, or size to obtain gauge. NOTE: The sleeves are worked in the round using the magic loop method, but you could just opt to use a shorter cord with your circulars or use DPNs.
Gauge: 23 stitches and 31 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch
