Learn to Knit - Beginner Workshop

This two session, all-inclusive workshop will teach you to knit your very first project!

This workshop is for total beginners who are keen to learn to knit! It would also be a good refresher for someone who learned to knit years ago and wants a refresher.

Dates: Thursday, October 19th & 26th

Times: 6pm for both dates

Location: 112 Dalton Street, Napier

Prerequisites: No prior skill needed!

Materials included: 1 x 50g ball of Touch Yarns 8 ply merino & 1 pair of 3.75 mm needles

Workshop Breakdown

Week One (2 hours): going over basics about materials & tools, holding the needles and yarn, slip knot, casting on, the knit stitch.

You'll take your work home to knit the length of the headband.

Week Two (1 hour): weaving in ends, learning to sew the twist into the headband.

Total workshop time: 3 hours

All materials and tools are included in the workshop price.

As we are a small shop, there are only 6 spots available.

Cancellation Policy

- Cancellations made 7 or more days before the workshop will be fully refunded.

- Cancellations made within 48 hours of the workshop will not be refunded.

- Cancellations made within the 7 days and before the 48-hour mark will be refunded 50% of their total workshop fee.

- No-shows will not be refunded.

- If we don't get enough signups, the workshop will be cancelled and you'll receive a full refund.
